Terms of Service

§ 1 Who we are
mein-aufenthalt.de is a referral service for persons seeking legal counsel in the area of residence and migration law. The operator is Milutin Culibrk Einzelunternehmen, Corthausstraße 21, 49084 Osnabrück (“we”, “platform”).
§ 2 What we do. And what we don't.
We forward your request to a licensed lawyer in Germany who is a good fit for you. We do not advise you ourselves and do not provide legal representation. Legal advice and any resulting client-lawyer relationship arise exclusively between you and the law firm.
§ 3 What use of the service costs you
Lawyer referral via mein-aufenthalt.de is free of charge for you as a client. By submitting the form, you take on no obligations. In particular, no engagement contract and no fee claim arises. Only if you later, of your own decision, retain the referred law firm, do their fee terms apply.
§ 4 Your obligations
You provide truthful information. We can delete deliberately false entries or obvious spam or test submissions without referring them.
§ 5 How long we store your data
On our side, your data is deleted no later than 60 days after submission. You can delete it yourself at any time. The link for this is in the confirmation email. Details on data processing are set out in the Privacy Policy.
§ 6 Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence as well as under the Product Liability Act. We are also liable for simple negligence for damages arising from injury to life, body or health. For other damages caused by simple negligence we are liable only if a material contractual obligation is breached; liability is in that case limited in amount to the damage typical for the contract and foreseeable. We are not liable for the legal advice given or the outcome of an engagement by the referred law firm. Here the law firm is your contractual partner.
§ 7 Applicable law, dispute resolution
German law applies. Consumer rights under mandatory provisions of the state in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected.
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in consumer dispute resolution proceedings.
